      Rights of the data subject

      10. To help us respond to such requests in a timely manner, include the phrase "Privacy rights request" in the title of your message.
      11. Data subjects may be authorised by law to request copies of their personal data. This is known as a Subject Access Request, or SAR
      12. If you wish to make a SAR, for example, to request copies of personal data that we hold about you, you can do so by writing to the Data Protection Officer, whose details are above. The request must make it clear that it is for an SAR. We may ask you to prove your identity if it is not clear.
      13. Responding to a SAR may take a while. Dentsply Sirona can obtain the information you need more quickly if you are as specific as possible in your request. For example, "I would like to obtain a copy of my personal information contained in my website member account file", or if you would like a copy of a particular document, it would be useful to thoroughly describe the document, including title, date of creation, the author and the location where it is likely to be stored. This will help us respond to your SAR as soon as possible. We may ask for more details if you have not provided enough information.

      Cookies / Tracking statement

      17. We may use Cookies technology on our website to collect certain information described in this Privacy Statement.
A Cookie is a small piece of information that is sent to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive, mobile phone or other device. You can set your browser to notify you when a Cookie is received. This allows you to decide whether to accept it or not. If you disable Cookies, however, some of the services and features offered on our websites may not work properly.
Below are examples of Cookies that may be used on our websites:
              a) Strictly necessary Cookies. These Cookies are essential to allow you to browse the website and use its functions. Without these Cookies, the services you request, such as storing a job application, adding products to a cart, or payment, cannot be provided.
              b) Performance / analysis Cookies. These Cookies collect information about how visitors use our websites, including the country from which they are accessed. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and see how visitors browse the Site when they use it. All data collected by these Cookies are aggregated and are not intended to personally identify you.

      18. Our website also uses social media and video plugins, such as those provided by Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
When you visit a page of our website that contains a social network, video or other plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the server for that plugin and provides it with the information that you have provided to access the corresponding page of our website. If you are also registered for that service, your visit may be connected to your account with that service. Therefore, if you interact with the plugins, for example, by clicking on "Like" or entering a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to that party. 19. When you visit our websites, we may allow some third parties (such as advertising networks and data analysis companies) to collect information about your online activities over time and on different websites. Your browser configuration may allow you to automatically transmit a "Do Not Track" signal to the websites and online services you visit. However, there is no consensus among industry participants regarding the meaning of "Do Not Track" in this context. Like many websites and online services, our websites do not change their practices when they receive a "Do Not Track" signal from a visitor's browser.
