•    He actively participates in research and has co-supervised over 40 master’s and doctorate students.
•    His main research interests reflect some interesting challenges in daily clinical practice and include tooth survival, managing dental trauma and the use of CBCT in endodontics.
•    National and international speaker on tooth survival, managing dental trauma and the use of CBCT in endodontics.
•    Lead author on national and European guidelines (ESE) for imaging in endodontics.
•    Has published over 60 articles in high-impact journals and co-edited 4 textbooks; The principles of endodontics (second edition), Pitt Ford's Problem-Based Learning in Endodontology and Cone Beam CT in Endodontics.
