Aesthetics in implant dentistry is challenging not only because the patients are more and more demanding, but also because nowadays the technical limits of dental implant surgeries are pushed more and more away. Implant dentistry seems to be a “no limit” approach to replace missing teeth. However, hurdles and pitfalls still exist in terms of aesthetic outcomes. Therefore, the decision making process when dealing with aesthetic areas, is based on the risk analysis. This analysis combines patients ‘expectation with reasonable technical solutions in order to reach the equilibrium point; i.e.; the best decision possible, taking into account the patient’s demand combined with the ability of the practitioner to constantly reproduce the expected outcomes of the surgical procedures. The repeatability of techniques together with their ability to adequately respond to the patient's expectation will be investigated through the clinical approach of the implant dentistry.
