Implantology in cancer patients
David Juan i Salvador
Our profession offers us the satisfaction of being able to give patients back their smile.

Improving aesthetics, achieving correct phonetics and optimal functionality are the objectives when building a dental prosthesis.

There are extremely delicate and complex cases such as patients diagnosed with cancer of the mouth in which, in addition to the standard parameters, we must bear in mind that in achieving total reconstruction they have had to undergo very aggressive surgery, long pharmacological treatment, loss of teeth and in many cases the need for psychological help.

The work must return the patient all that they have lost of their physiognomy and transmit to them the hope of the success of the prosthesis and the end of the treatment.
